With the purest form of words, screenwriter and poet Javed Akhtar limits his words in the most beautiful Urdu language pinching so hard, on how human today is towards the other. And, undeniably how simply it is to get the reality in front of our eyes in a poetic manner. Here are 10 soul pinching shayaris by Javed Akhtar!

"Un chiragon mein tel hi kam tha, Kyun gila phir humein hawa se rahe?"
Javed Sahab has beautifully described disappointment in these lines. We tend to blame other factors when someone breaks our heart or disappoints us, but in reality it is the person who is to blame. It is really important that we blame the right cause, not only it helps in betterment of our understanding of the world, but also helps in enhancing our decision making process in the future.
"Kyu darein zindagi mein kya hoga? Kuch na hoga to tazurba hoga!"
Humans have a tendency of overthinking about the future. We live in a constant fear of what's going to happen the next moment, about things like career, relationships etc. Javed Sahab tells us in these two lines to not be live in this fear because if nothing goes right, it will be an experience and help us in our future endeavors!

"Musibat aur lambi zindagi, Buzurgon ki dua ne maar dala."
In these very beautiful lines, Javed Akhtar talks the other side of "dua". Our elders usually give us blessings to have a long life whenever we do anything good, but what if that long life is filled with problems?
"Humko uthna toh muh andhere tha, Lekin ek khwaab humko ghere tha"
In these lines, Javed Sahab talks about a dream that doesn't let him wake up early in the morning because it is so mesmerizing. Dreaming is very important in life, because dreams only come true when you have them in the first place.

"Tumhein bhi yaad nahi aur mai bhi bhool gaya, Vo lamha kitna haseen tha magar fizool gaya."
Some moments are really beautiful in our life, but as time grows we outgrown people and slowly, the moments that we've spent with them also start fading away. In these lines, Javed Sahab talks about this to the person that he had incredible moments with.
"Oonchi imaaraton se makaan mera ghir gaya, Kuch log mere hisse ka suraj bhi khagaye."
In this world full of people trying to make a place for themselves, often we see people taking advantage of others by taking away their rights. In these two lines, Javed Sahab comments on that by pointing out how rich people living in tall buildings have even taken the sunlight of the poor. Sunlight being something that is available to everyone, Javed Akhtar tells how some people even took it away!

"Sab ka khushi se faasla ek kadam hai, Har ghar mein bas ek hi kamra kam hai."
Talking about the never ending greed of humans, Javed Akhtar tells how everyone always keep talking about they're not happy where they are and if something more could've happened they'd be really happy. He also points out in the second line that despite living in a house with so many rooms, people still keep saying how if they had another room in their house, they could do so much more with the place that'd finally make them happy. As humans, we really need to sit back and appreciate what we have instead of running towards more things!
"Iss sheher mein jeene ke andaar niraale hai, Honton par lateefe hai awaaz mein chhaale hai."
In these lines, Javed Sahab talks about life in a metropolitan, where the people are always smiling, but always planning to bring each other down. He has beautifully described this behavior in these two lines.

"Raat sar par hai aur safar baaki, Humko chalna zara savere tha."
A lot of times in life, we feel that we should've started with something sooner as the deadline comes closer and a lot work is yet to be done. In these two lines, Javed Sahab describes that feeling by giving the example of a journey where he says that the day is about to end and the destination is still afar, we should have started our journey a little soon to make it in time!
"Yaad usse bhi ek adhoora afsana toh hoga, Kal raaste mein usne humko pehchana toh hoga."
These two lines are about what goes through your mind after you run into someone who used to pretty close to you at sometime in your life. Describing that, Javed Sahab says that they must also still remember what we meant to each other, if I recognized them, they would've also recognized me!
